Who Am I?
My name is Martin, and I’m a photographer based in Estonia. Photography has always intrigued me, though I initially hesitated, believing the gear was prohibitively expensive. Thankfully, I took the leap and discovered it was more accessible than I thought – and I haven’t looked back. It’s become a genuine passion, seamlessly intertwining with my love for hiking and camping. Exploring Estonia’s landscapes provides endless opportunities to capture the beauty that catches my eye.
I’m a believer in shooting what inspires me, without adhering to a specific style or subject. If it’s visually appealing, I’m capturing it. My aim is simple: to create images that resonate with others. I use a Canon system with a versatile range of lenses, from wide-angle to telephoto, ensuring I’m prepared for any scene. And sometimes, to truly capture the breadth of a vista, I launch my drone, gaining a bird’s-eye perspective that reveals the hidden patterns and grandeur of the land.
Beyond capturing images, photography is a therapeutic experience for me. It’s a creative outlet that allows me to unwind and continuously refine my skills. While I don’t have a particular project or theme in mind at the moment, I’m thoroughly enjoying the journey of learning and growth with each photograph. Ultimately, my goal is to keep improving and, most importantly, to embrace the joy of capturing the world around me.
